Fluorogenic RNA aptamer developed by Song et al. for live imaging of cells (doi.org/10.1038/nchembio.2477). The aptamer provides fluorescence in presence of the fluorophore DFHO (excitation/emission wavelength: 505/545 nm). The biomodule carries the core of the fluorogenic aptamer and requires a flanking scaffold for stability like tRNA or F30 (see biomodules 46UGP9C and 38FLSSO).
