Bacterial Strain JM109 is the strain of choice for routine cloning. The strain grows well and is transformed efficiently by a variety of methods. The endonuclease A mutation ensures high yield and quality of isolated plasmid DNA. In addition, JM109 can be used for quick blue/white screening.
