Improved version of the fluorogenic RNA-aptamer spinach developed by Strack et al. for live imaging of cells (doi.org/10.1038/nmeth.2701). The aptamer provides fluorescence in presence of the fluorophore DFHBI or derivatives (excitation/emission wavelength: 447/501 nm).
