pET T7-lacO promoter

The biomodule carries the sequence of a T7 promoter and a lac operator. Downstream gene expression is activated by the RNA polymerase of bacteriophage T7 and inhibited by the presence of the repressor LacI. The biomodule is part of pET plasmids used in combination with an E. coli strain carrying the T7 RNA polymerase gene. pET plasmids and parts thereof were developed by Novagen and are available for Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.
