Kana promoter
The kana promoter is a constitutive promoter used for expression of the kanamycin resistance gene. This promoter is found within the transposon Tn5 upstream of the neomycin phosphotransferase gene encoding neomycin and kanamycin resistance (Beck et al., 1982).
