Ribosome binding site (RBS) pDEST15
This RBS was found in the pDEST15 vector between T7 promoter and the Start codon of the GSt tag. In this context the RBS is located 8 bps (ATATACAT) upstream of the Start codon and 48 bps downstream of the T7 promoter. This part already includes the spacer sequence, so it can be placed directly in front of the Start codon.
